Meet Katie
I’m Katie McKenzie, a full-time Etowah County REALTOR® dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve their real estate goals throughout Gadsden, Rainbow City, Southside, Hokes Bluff, Glencoe, and the surrounding Northeast Alabama area. Since becoming a REALTOR® in 2014, I’ve had the honor of helping more than 421 clients buy or sell homes, with over $114 million in career sales volume.
In 2025, I ranked as the #2 REALTOR® in Etowah County with $22 million in closed real estate sales and #4 overall in the Northeast Alabama Association of REALTORS® (NAAR). I pride myself on strong communication, expert negotiation, and a client-first approach, which has helped me become one of the most trusted top-producing real estate agents in Northeast Alabama.
As an active member of our Local Association of REALTORS®, I serve on the Grievance, Professional Standards, Community Service, and ARPAC Committees, and I’m proud to be an ARPAC Major Investor. Staying involved ensures I remain a resource for my clients and stay up to date on the latest real estate standards, ethics, and industry changes.
Beyond real estate, I’m passionate about giving back. I currently serve as the Board President for the Family Success Center of Etowah County, where I’ve helped raise more than $180,000 to support local families. My community leadership also includes serving as Vice President (2023) and President (2024) of the Gadsden Service Guild, participating in the Leadership Etowah Class of 2025, and serving on the United Way Girlfriend Gala Committee.
Advocacy is a major part of my life. As the Organizer of the Etowah County chapter of Down Syndrome Alabamaand founder of the Down Syndrome Alabama Honor Bash, I’ve helped raise more than $25,000 to support inclusion, education, and awareness. In 2025, I was honored to be recognized as the Proclamation Recipient for Down Syndrome Awareness Month by multiple local cities.
